This Privacy Policy applies to websites, applications, events and other services operated by GINOVA. For simplicity, we refer to everyone as 'services' in this Privacy Policy. For extra clarification, we have added links to this Privacy Policy in all applicable services.

Some services may require your own privacy policy. If a specific service has its own privacy policy, then this policy -- and not this Privacy Policy -- will be applicable.

3. Information we collect

We collect two types of information about our Visitors and Users:

Information No Personal: are unidentified information and non-identifiable information about a Visitor or an unidentified User, which may be made available to us or collected automatically. Such Information Non-Personal does not allow us to identify the Visitor or User of whom they were collected. The Non-Personal Information we collect consists mainly of technical and aggregate information such as navigation information and “click flow” activities in the Services, heat maps, non-identifying information about the device, operating system, internet browser, screen resolution, language and keyboard settings, internet service provider, forwarding/output pages, date/time, etc.

Personal Information: are individually identifiable information, i.e. information that identifies an individual or that may, through reasonable effort, lead to the identification of an individual, or that may be of a private or confidential nature. The Personal Information we collect consists mainly of the contacts (e.g. email address or telephone number), billing data (name, delivery address, payment method and transaction details), details about a session or browsing custom (IP address, geographic location and/or device unique identifier), and any other personal information that is provided to us by Visitors and/or Users through their access to and/or use of the Services.

More specifically:

  1. When you create an account, you provide us with at least your login data, as well as some basic data needed so that we can present our products more properly such as your sex and birth date.
  2. When you purchase directly with us, you provide your address information, and also provide our payment service provider such as your debit or credit card number in Paypal payment cases. In the cases of payment by MB, the whole process is managed by the payment company by ATM references along with its bank.
  3. When you participate in surveys or focus groups, you give us your opinions on our products and services, answers to our questions and testimonies.
  4. When you decide to participate in our promotions, events or hobbies, we collect the information you use to register or participate.
  5. If you contact our Customer Support Team, we collect the information you provide to us during the interaction. We sometimes monitor or record these interactions for training purposes and to ensure high quality of the service.

Information collected when you use our services When you use our services, we collect information about what features you used, how you used them and the devices you use to access our services. See the following information for more details:

  1. Information on use: We collect information about your activity in our services, for example, how you use them (e.g., the date and time you started the session, functionality you used, searches, clicks and pages that were presented to you, the address of reference web pages, advertising you click on).
  2. Device information: We collect information about and about the device(s) you use to access our services, including: information about hardware and software such as IP address, device identity and type, application and device specific settings and features, application errors, advertising ID (such as Google AAID and Apple IDFA, both randomly generated numbers that can be reset in your device settings), browser type, version and language, operating system, time zones, identifiers associated with cookies or other unique technologies that may identify your unique browser address;

information about your mobile or wireless network connection such as service provider and signal strength;

  • Other information with your permission

4. Cookies and other identical data collection technologies

We use and may allow others to use identical cookies and technologies (e.g. web beacons, pixels) to recognize you and/or your device(s). You can read oursCookies Policy to get more information about why we use them (for example, for your authentication, to remember your preferences and settings, analyze website traffic and trends, provide and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, allow you to use social media features) and how you can better control your use through your browser settings and other tools. Some web browsers (including Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome) have a 'do not track' feature ('DNT') that informs a website that a user does not want their online activity to be followed. If a website that responds to a DNT signal receives a DNT signal, the browser may block this website from collecting certain information about the browser user. Not all browsers provide a DNT option and the DNT signals are not yet uniform. For this reason, many companies, including Ginova, do not currently respond to DNT signals.
